My friends cant join me and all it says is "Client info sent!"

The solution now is to have this setting on. " Do not download steam workshop addons "

Can you give us more information?
Is your game ccrashing at Client info recieved? what is actually happening?
What specs are your friends running? are they strong enough to run PERP?

They just freeze at that stage and its not perp its my game, basically its just frozen at that stage and it stays there

What specs is your PC running? What server are you connected to? does this happen with singleplayer?

32 GB, SSD, NVIDA Geforce GTX 1650, Not to mention this only started happening a day ago and thought it wasnt a big deal but now its to the point nobody is able to load into my game without it just staying at "Client info sent" and its not perp

What branch of GMOD are they using? what server are they actually attempting to join? Does it happen with any other servers that they are attempting to join?
Am having this problem joining my friend I have x86-64 - Chromium + 64-bit Binaries
Do you have any addons installed?

i think its cause im on the "Play Garrys mod" option and they are on "Garrys mod (x64)" option isnt it?
Yes we do but this is not the case.
Also try this:
- Go to the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod (Your Garry's Mod directory)
- Upon stumbling upon this lovely section, you will find a file that goes by the name "FactoryReset-GMod.bat"
- Simply open it up, enter "Y" (stands for yes, to proceed) and this will remove all content and any data Garry's Mod has on you.
- Open up Garry's Mod via Steam and allow it to 'reconfigure' itself.
- ENJOY!
I know that use is back from 2019 on a perpheads help and support that has already be done ( AND WORKS ) and am able to join my self however other friends cannot. Or they don't want to do it because it is " risky "

Have you tried to Verify your game files using steam libary? to do this, go to steam, right click go to properties, head to "Installed Files" and then click verify intergrity of installed files, this might solve your issue.

tryed that but sadly didnt work
This has been done several times and this has failed. Verifying does not help you on the " Client Info Sent " error as I call it in this case.

Have you attempted a completly fresh reinstall of GMOD?

Reinstalling GMOD won't help the error in any way.

Your best bet would be to try every simple option to at least get the game working, as from what it seems, your PC is able to handle it. I reccomend you to try this and then see if it works before trying anything else that might be more complicated.
