Suggestion Title: Bank Security Job
Suggestion Description: This suggestion has a couple of parts to it, the key being a new Job for "Bank Security" and a new criminal venture "Cash Truck Robbery"

The role of Bank Security is to safely move money from the bank to businesses & ATMs and vice versa, they would also play a role in defending the bank during a bank raid.

The Security would drive a Brute style truck and deliver the money similar to how courier deliveries packages, however, there is someone being blackmailed at the headoffice. This person is leaking random intel to the Paralake drug dealer who is selling this onto criminals.

Criminals contact the Drug Dealer and explain they want to rob a cash truck and it will tell them the info of the delivery, they will then have to steal the money box. This will work similarly to how the bank is rewarded so that it pushes for a planned approach to prevent being caught by the police.

The amount paid would depend on the amount of security along and some other factors like police and would come out of the city funds. There would only ever be one truck at a time to force security to work together. The security location would also appear on the Dispatch map.

Why should this be added?:
-Some depth to crim RP
-New JOB!?

What negatives could this have?:
-If i do this job i would get killed by rxsm more

What problem would this suggestion solve?: None okay.

This would be really cool to see in the server, I personally don't think they should protect during a bank raid, simply just transport money across the map to certain business / ATM's.

Nice idea, but i think its complicated for new players. I think this can easily be minged with. Players helping eachother to get the 'loot' and not defending at their best.

Maybe if there is an convoy it can be harder to steal the money from the van

I would say this is where maybe there could be a chat like RC that cops can see and then they can have either a marked/unmarked escort but depends on PD

Shut up with your negative thinking!

Good point, I forgot how *redacted* the PERP Community is… Surely we can think of a prevention

How do they get in the cash truck? Do they get given a heist tool like a “Explosive Charge” to plant on the back side of the Truck like how crims get a bank drill for the vault?

It’s not a good point. New players dont go around releasing their off duty friends from a murder charge as police and walk away unpunished. It’s a very simple job abuse case.

Also does acquiring the contract for this bank truck job simply require the group leader to just pay 5K to the DD or is there actual progression in some way?

I swear I suggested this before…

They shouldn’t get the brute van imo, the Courier truck would better fit the purpose.

Ideally establishing a security job could work well as it could be a multiple dimension job. Players could be a cash in transit driver, or players could be security for bank and casino, or possibly even other players.

If this job is armed it should allow secondaries that the player has to bring on the job.

Maybe a drill system where you put a drill on the back of the van after disabling it somehow? Then when the drill is up you can press E on the drill and claim the cash inside?

All jobs currently have some level of benefit to players, like delivering packages or repairing player vehicles. This suggestion has some good lore about how money moves in Paralake, but in practice isn't it pretty much being an NPC until a pvp event occurs?
It would also invite the sorts of problems that come with any pvp situation between players on a job versus civilians, which there is an entire Internal Affairs system to help deal with. Secret Service being tied into the IA system does give some room for another job to be included, but it still feels kind of pointless to have a job that only serves to create pvp events.

I do like @Bnjemann's suggestion of a general security job, or maybe a branch of PLPD/Probationary Officer that can be assigned duty at City Hall/Bank/Bazaar

In the original suggestion, in the first half, you can clearly read the Job description as being a passive courier-style job where the bank security workers move money around like couriers. So I imagine you get paid a salary while also waiting for a call to go deposit money into a safe somewhere at some ATM.

Love the style and thought of the mission. But whenever Security gets dispatched, you'd figure they would know they would be walking into a death trap right? Maybe mission complexity would have security be delivering, and in the middle at random receive intel they are being targeted.

Playing a little devil's advocate, inb4 the trifecta where there's also a prison break - Á La Moriarty from BBC Sherlock.

Idk the Brute feels fitting, it's true to life (atleast here in the USA) too, and looks like something you don't wanna mess with. Maybe if City Hall gives the budget, they can unlock the Brute. Otherwise, Courier truck and maybe an Escalade.

I feel firm on my first opinion especially considering the second. Otherwise, they're just gonna get hosed. Sure, allow them to bring their handguns - but if the company must supply it should be both the Secret Service or Corporal handguns, maybe throw in a better Glock. No revolvers, unless provided by the employee. EDIT: I see how this can be a problem if it was a more "in general" security gig at different places, but I'm specifically discussing the bank/transit here.
